Time once again to walk to school halls. This year, I'm starting a new school < /unenthusiastic "yay" >. I'm just hoping that all goes well. We had open house today, and I had to get up early for that... This was the first time I've gotten up before 10 all summer I think. *yawns* I want to go back to bed.
In other news, I've put my fursuit on hold to do one for my younger brother. He's a huge Invader Zim fan, and, for an early Christmas present, I'm going to be working on a Gir suit for him! :) I'll post updates and designs when I get them finished.

The Lion King was amazing! :) I can not express my amazement at how they pulled it off! The costumes were incredible, and the acting was great! My favorites were Scar (of course! :P), Nala and Rafiki. Both Nala and Rafiki had powerful, incredible voices.
So now we've reviewed something amazing. Now, let us review something... not so amazing.
Prince Caspian
The newest Narnia installment really didn't impress me. The only good thing I could find were the animals. The rest of the movie needed a serious face-lift.
The acting was sub-par. Caspian was a bit to "emo" for me. The story line was a bit jumpy and had some strange gaps, especially in the beginning.
Usually, I love the villains. They have nice back-stories and are more balanced and fun. Each time these jokers would come on the screen, I would cringe. They were simply ridiculous.
The entire movie was a bore to me. The war scenes were lacking. The graphics in everything other than the animals weren't all that great.
And the score was the exact same as it was in the first movie! There was just a bit of original score, and, sadly, it was horrendous.
I would wait to rent this movie, and not waste 8.50 (as I did) to see it.

Sadly, Dulaman and I couldn't see each other this past weekend, but the good news is, we get to see each other on Friday at... *drumroll*
THE LION KING ON BROADWAY!
Aiee!!!! I've waited 10 years, but I finally get to see it! I've so anxious! *shivers* Squeeee! Five days away! I really can't believe it! It's almost surreal to know that I finally get to go after such a long time!
In other news, my copy of Felidae came in. It's a wonderful book!
I found my Lord of the Rings Ring of Power at the school after losing it 3 years ago at my school! No lie! It showed up and was found by one of the teachers who brought it out in class and said "Who can read Elvish?" I said that I could a little, and he handed me the ring to translate it. I told him I knew what it said w/out looking after memorizing the poem (which my friend jokingly said was a waste of brainspace! Haha! :P Well... I guess it is sort of...), and ,while I was looking the ring over, I commented to myself on how it looked just like the one I lost years ago- size, style and whatnot. The teacher let me keep it! I couldn't believe it! I am positive this is my old one!
I got a butt-load of new art supplies- watercolors, special paper, new sketchbooks of different sizes, brushes and pens!
The week has been good!
